The remodelling works have now been completed and residents have either moved back to Magdalen or have been relocated as requested. The vestibule doors however, will be fitted this July, having been delayed by the need to obtain separate planning and listed building consent.
An official opening was held at the Cottages on the 12th May 2017. A new plaque, in the Trust’s corporate colours, was unveiled by the Lord Mayor Councillor Cynthia Thompson as her last duty in office. The plaque is located on the side wall of the individual block, facing Denmark Road.
